Next Level Folk holds monthly singers' nights on a Saturday night. We generally go for the second Saturday of each month, but it can vary due to the venue's other events. Upcoming nights are listed further down this page.
On singers' nights, up to 16 pre-booked floor acts perform two songs (or poems) each. The nights have a warm and welcoming vibe and draw an enthusiastic and attentive audience.
Due to demand, booking for each singers' night opens from 9am the morning after the previous such event. Request a slot on the Next Level Folk Facebook page or by messaging the organiser, Christopher Crompton.
Next Level Folk takes its name from the fact that we are based on the next level up from the much-loved Claptrap the Venue in Stourbridge, in the "Room at the Top". Be warned that this does mean quite a few stairs, but it's worth it! The room is cosy with a quirky vibe. We have a great sound system and there is a bar in the room.
